This trailer is a must see! I know at first many of you will be apprehensive because it stars Justin Timberlake, but give this a shot. Very cool story line, and a lot of action as well. i think this has the potential to be a huge hit – I know i’ll be seeing this one in the theaters!
This is definitely a must see for any action fans. Who doesn’t love a gunslinger turned pro-orphan freedom fighter storyline? They could have taken so many wrong turns with this movie, but with the way the trailer is cut, it looks good. Let’s hope the trailer accurately reflects the movie!
Being a fan of comic books growing up has drawn me to pretty much any big screen adaptation that’s come out in the last 10 years. That also makes me a tough critic, and I think its safe to say that the first ghost rider movie was absolutely horrible. Before you dismiss this next trailer, give it a try. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised – this installment of the ghost rider saga looks plain badass. On first glance you get the feeling of a darker story line, and the new-look ghost rider looks ready for vengeance. Thoughts?
This weekend I decided I would check out Rise of the Planet of the Apes (directed by Rupert Wyatt) starring James Franco, Andy Serkis and Freida Pinto. Truth be told I wasn’t expecting much, as the Tim Burton version left a sour taste with most viewers, including myself. Let me start by saying this movie was awesome. There was a very well thought out background story, good character development (where viewers fell in love with, felt bad for, and potentially sided with Caesar – a chimp character in the movie), and blockbuster action sequences set on a background of the gorgeous golden gate bridge. Between the action and the good story line, I definitely suggest catching this flick. One of the better movies i’ve seen this summer. It seems that critics and the public agree (see: Rotten Tomatoes link).
Alright. Is it just me or does anyone else thing Woody Harrelson has really revived his career as of late? I have to say I really really enjoyed his character in Zombieland; I thought he did a phenomenal job! After watching this trailer, he looks like he’s back. Must have been playing basketball sharking people out of $$ with his threeball and Wesley Snipes’ PG moves.
Well, I think it’s pretty easy to figure that I love myself some martial arts action movies. Jon Woo makes some pretty ridiculous stuff, and his new indie movie Red Cliff definitely falls into that category. I have to say, this looks like one of Woo’s better movies so I’m excited to say the least.
Alright, here’s the second trailer for Scorsese’s Shutter Island with Leonardo Dicaprio. I have to say, I couldn’t stand the guy in Titanic, but Blood Diamond and a few others since have really turned around my take on Leo. This looks absolutely great!
Count me in on the list of people who want to see this the minute it comes out!! What do you think?
I have to say, George Clooney is one slick cat. Here’s an interesting movie where he plays a guy who pretty much travels his entire life. It’s kind of a snapshot of his day to day, dealing w/ relationships (romantic and work related), and all sorts of other stuff.
I can only imagine what it would be like to have that many frequent flyer miles!
At first glance, I thought to myself.. geez, here’s another animated movie with a cheesy story line. After watching this trailer, I owe Wes Anderson an apology. Very interesting story line with a lot of familiar voices…
Take a look (and a listen) and see if you can pick everyone out. Could be funny!
