Alright so we all go through the same process… we hear a song we like, and google the lyrics.. and get hit by spam after spam site with popups galore.
It’s tough to find a solid lyric site, especially in the rap genre. I usually find myself refraining from looking them up due to the fear of getting a virus.
I finally came across a site that is 100% free of popups, spam and viruses. A very trustworthy site, that is kind of like the IMDB of Rap Lyrics.
You can search by keywords, artist, you name it! Once you hit an artists bio page, it even tells you their Aliases.. I had no idea that Jay-Z also went by Iceberg Slim!!!

Well it looks like my buddy Brian Stojak did it again when his theatre group (Theatre Seven) put on one of the best shows this summer called Boys and Girls.
This is a show compiled of two short set plays called “Never Swim Alone” and “The Shallow End”, and after its initial opening date of May 16th, the critics are already raving.

If you’re like me, you usually hate paying the ridiculously high prices for concert and sports tickets, but want the best seats.
A friend of mine directed me to SeatExchange.com where you can buy or sell tickets for pretty much any event.
The cool part that I liked about this site is the ability to bid on the tickets you want. You offer a price that you like, and the seller can accept or decline. If they decline, you can offer a higher bid. This is the way ticket sales should be!
A few times I’ve forgotten to get concert tickets to my favorite bands newest concert on the Onsale day, and I had to scramble on craigs list or other ridiculously high priced websites.
Or even worse, when a buddy of mine need sports tickets last march, he tried getting NCAA tix through the regular channels but they were sold out WAY to fast. He ended up missing his team (GO SPARTANS!) demolish Pitt and had to settle for a crowded bar.
Don’t be confused with other secondary market sellers who claim to have easy access seats for low prices – They name their price and its usually double to triple of what you would pay normally! Ok so I finally got around to watching the horror movie Turistas… I didn’t really enjoy it all that much.
There were far too many similarities to Hostel, and it went on for FAR too long.
Basically here’s the back story: Some tourists have their bus crash in brazil, but instead of waiting for another bus, they go down to the beach and party, get drugged, robbed, and get led to some crazy cabin where a doctor plans to harvest their organs.
Of course, they show one of the people getting harvested, and then there is a clever escape plan, which causes the death of a few people, and then the longest chase scene EVER.
What’s happened to horror movies these days? The last great one I saw was Disturbia, and i’m really looking forward to The Strangers.
I hope neither disappoint; there’s something about killers running around with burlap sack masks that scare the bejeebus out of me haha!

Time and time again, I revisit everyone’s childhood favorite restaurant, McDonald’s, only to be let down and disgusted.
Why do I go back you ask? Well it’s like the classic story of the cheating spouse.. you hope they’ve changed, so you give them one more chance, only to realize they haven’t.
Let me give credit where credit is due…
McDonald’s breakfast is absolutely incredible. Yup, I said it. Honestly, the egg mcmuffin? Breakfast burritos with the picante sauce? SOLD.
But the big mac, chicken nuggets, double cheeseburgers….. mcsweats, mcshakes, mcchills.

So a lot of you out there are speed and flight junkies just like me… Have the urge to go skydiving, base jumping, you name it.
Well I came across this video on youtube that a company called Flomerics put together - It’s a simulation (mixed with real footage) of a wingsuit that lets you glide incredibly like a bird while free falling!
Why so cool you ask? Well watch the video, and notice how close the man gets to the rocks and ledges.
After seeing that, the first thing I thought was how is this possible?
Well first off, the wingsuit was designed with the help of computer aided engineering.
Flomerics measured the lift and drag forces allowing this incredible flight with their computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software. Basically, this software calculates the fluid flows and pressure, and shows it in a 3d visualization that looks incredible.
Air flow isn’t the only thing these guys look into though. Something interesting I learned on their site was the valve analysis. It helps engineers determine flow rates, flow capacity, reduce pressure drop in things like valves for your vehicle, faucets, etc. Also, electronic system simulation which provides solutions for design problems associated with the cooling of electronics and selecting correct electronic cooling fans.
One of their top products is FLOVENT
FLOVENT is a powerful Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software that predicts 3D airflow, heat transfer and contamination distribution in and around buildings of all types and sizes.
Keep an eye on this company, as it’s doing some SWEET things over there in the UK.

I was browsing around online today and came across some information on Sudden Cardiac Arrest. After losing close family members / friends due to heart related questions, I thought I would read up on this, and share some info with my readers.
Basically, sudden cardiac arrest occurs when the heart abruptly stops beating. People who have had previous heart attacks or any form of heart disease are at high risk for sudden cardiac arrest.
A few symptoms include: sudden collapsing, loss of consciousness, loss of blood pressure, or the inability to find a steady pulse.
Two ways of attending to someone who is suffering from SCA is with CPR or the use of a defibrillator.
Also, an electronic device called an ICD can be surgically implanted and connected to your heart. ICDs are designed to slow down a fast heart rate. If irregularities are noticed, the ICD is programmed to send an electrical shock to your heart.
